This a reissue of Fender BASS VI, made in japan.
Very special guitar (bass…?). Used by Robert Smith (The Cure), and various other artists. What you get basically is a guitar with strings beetween a guitar and a bass, one octave down from a regular guitar.

You can’t really play chords (sounds strange) but you can play arpeges and solo and it makes it easier for a guitarist to record bass lines.
